Job Title: Senior Loan Servicing Associate – Structured & Syndicated Finance

About the Opportunity

A premier global investment bank is seeking an experienced Senior Loan Servicing Associate to join their Structured Finance Operations team in Jersey City.

In this role, you will act as a key operational anchor for the New York commercial lending branch. You will manage the end-to-end administration of high-value, complex corporate debt, serving as the primary point of contact for both corporate borrowers and lending syndicates. What You Will Do Day-to-Day:

• Lead Agency Servicing: Serve as the direct operational interface for complex borrower facilities and lending syndicates.
• Transaction Execution: Review, verify, and authorize daily commercial loan activities including new borrowings, rollovers, pay-downs, and maturity extensions.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform rigorous analysis and reconciliation of interest accruals, commitment fees, and complex fee structures.
• Portfolio Administration: Manage diverse facilities including Commercial Paper, Non-performing assets, and Risk Participation sales.
• Cash & Ledger Management: Oversee the daily processing of loan proceeds, prepare General Ledger entries, and clear suspense or past-due accounts.
• Reporting & Compliance: Monitor system-generated facility reports to ensure absolute data accuracy and adherence to risk controls.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of direct experience in commercial lending or structured finance operations.
• System Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with the LoanIQ (LIQ) platform is strictly required.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Agency servicing, bilateral loans, and syndicated lending portfolios.
• Product Familiarity: Clear understanding of corporate financial products, including Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC).
• Technical & Cash Skills: Advanced MS Excel capabilities and solid knowledge of multi-currency/USD cash payment principles.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline.
