This position is for the Fall 2026 semester beginning on, August 17, 2026 and ending December 14, 2026 . Lab assistant responsibilities centered on assisting the science faculty with laboratory preparation and activities. Note: Lab Assistant positions are part-time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited, and there is no expectation that your association with Chattahoochee Tech will be extended beyond this term. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of all of the following sequence of classes with a minimum grade of “B” in the laboratory portion of the course: CHEM1211/CHEM1211L (General Chemistry 1) and CHEM1212/CHEM1212L (General Chemistry 2), or their equivalent Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology SALARY/BENEFITS : Salary, $12/hour – with a maximum of 19 hours per week.
