Business Continuity Planning AnalystLocation: 100% Remote -- PST preferred | Open to CST/ESTType: Full-Time W2 Contract | 40 hours | M-F | No OTDuration: 12 months with probable extension/conversionTarget Start: October 2026Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation & sick leaveReason for opening: BackfillInterview Process: 2 virtual roundsJOB OVERVIEW: The Business Continuity Planning Analyst will partner with key business stakeholders across business units and programs. This integral role will assist with the implementation of a world-class BC Program. The CW requires a good understanding of adaptive business continuity planning strategy, emerging technology platforms and business operations. This CW will focus on the development and facilitation of Tabletop Exercises for the enterprises most critical functions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Build sustainable working relationships with critical business teamsPartner with business stakeholders to conduct risk-based functional business impact analysis and prioritize development of business continuity plans for the most critical activitiesMap systems and business process integrations that support technology products and services. This may include an understanding of the resilience of outsourced providers and/or entities critical to the business.Facilitate development and execution of continuity exercises for business teamsCoordinate business continuity and application recovery gap analysis and remediation exercises between business teams.Partner with cross-functional teams on periodic training and awareness initiativesBe the SME on crisis activations that might impact the delivery of the enterprises' technology products and services to end-usersSupport third-party/outsourced business continuity risk management projects where necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA professional with the ability of working in a fast-paced environment8+ years of overall experience5+ years of work experience in Business Continuity planning5+ years of work experience in an operation, project coordination, consulting, or equivalent environment5+ years of work experience coordinating projects with cross-functional partnersExperience communicating to a variety of audiencesExperience developing and documenting procedures and workflowsAbility to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with collaborative tools such Confluence, SharePoint, WikiAbility to communicate effectively and adapt quicklyDistinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen and technical abilityBachelor's degree requiredMUST HAVE SKILLS:Business continuity experienceExperience leading tabletop exercisesExcellent written and communication skillsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS:Crisis management experiencePursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records.
